Plenty of developments regarding the ongoing "circling-the-drain" of humanity out of Washington in the past few days. If only the picture to the right were an actual part of it. But a boy can dream, can't he?

Karl Rove Leaving White House... the ACTUAL leader of the free world announced that he will be leaving the Bush Administration at the end of August this week. When asked about his plans for the future, Rove replied with an unsettling grin, before muttering something about "the seventh seal" followed by something that sounded vaguely like Sindarin Elvish with a Mordor accent. Additionally, sources claim Rove was very pleased with his severance package of a lifetime supply of replacement blood (Blood Type: 87 Octane) from ExxonMobil and fresh oracles, which will be delivered to him from every corner of the empire.... daily.

John Edwards seeking Barack Obama as V.P. candidate... Edwards, who ironically is trailing Obama is every pole outside of the firehouse variety, was recently quoted as considering Obama as a prime candidate for his Vice Presidential running-mate. Of course, when you finally see Edwards as Obama's V.P., this will all be alot funnier. Until then, all I can say is: it sure sucks that Hillary Clinton will get the nomination and then get beaten by Mitt Romney. Afterward, so starts the Rapture.

Iraq War Czar says Draft is an option... Well, this one is about summed up in the title. And recently, pseudo-President Bush was also quoted as saying this was a possibility. So... uh, yeah. Well, I'm a bit over the target range, so I don't especially care. And even if I wasn't, war is kinda like playing real-life Halo? Pretty much the same at least, right? *flash forward six months to me frantically running around a half-destroyed Iraqi neighborhood screaming "Where's the overshield?! Where's the goddamn overshield?!!"
